Electric Athletic Club Leadership Team

Our Electric Team

Josh Goldman, MD, MBA // Co-Founder // CEO + Partnerships

Josh is a longtime athlete and Sports Medicine physician at UCLA.  Beginning with his track & field days in high school, running has consistently been a part of his life.  He founded EAC with his two closest college friends to create a meaningful community around the sport in the empty space most of us experience post-college.

Outside of running, he spends most of his time on campus at UCLA treating patients and athletes alike.  He completed his fellowship training in Sports Medicine and residency training in Family Medicine at the UCLA. He attended graduate school at the University of Southern California, completing his Medical Degree concurrent with his Master of Business Administration.

Josh is currently the Team Physician for the UCLA Football, Men’s Soccer, and Women’s Water Polo teams. He previously served as team physician for a number of UCLA Athletics teams and numerous high schools in the Los Angeles area. He worked as a volunteer physician at the United States Olympic Training Center, USA Hockey, and the AVP Tour. His areas of research include sport-related concussion, training load and injury, sleep & sports performance, distance running, and pediatric sports medicine.

For all partnership-related inquiries, please reach out to Josh.
